ProCare is proud to announce the opening of our newest facility, ProCare Urgent Care, January 19th.  This facility staffed by Physicians, Nurse Family Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, provides medical care to the Odessa community that requires prompt attention, but does not pose an immediate, serious health threat.  Urgent Care will treat many problems that can be seen in a primary care physician’s office, but offers availability after hours, weekends, and on holidays.  Urgent Care which will be open 365 days a year, will offer the convenience to the patient to be evaluated, treated, and the record of your visit forwarded to their primary care physician for any additional medical care. Urgent Care will also refer the patient should they not have a primary care physician, to one of our other Pro Care providers so that you maybe followed up for any additional medical care.   

 Examples of what can be treated at ProCare Urgent Care include:

• Abdominal pain
• Asthma attack
• Back pain
• Small bone fractures
• Cold/flu
• Ear pain
• Eye irritation
• Fever
• Headache
• Skin rashes
• Sore throat
• Sprains/strains
• Suspected urinary tract infection
• Vomiting/diarrhea (stomach flu0
• Minor work injuries

 Pro Care understands that serious injuries also occur during times when Physician Clinics are closed.  Serious injuries and medical issues should always be handled in the Emergency Department.  Examples of medical issues that should go to the Emergency Room include: 

• Alcohol/drug intoxication overdose
• Amputation./severe lacerations
• Depression
• Loss of consciousness
• Possible appendicitis
• Pregnancy complications
• Seizures or convulsions
• Sudden shortness of breath or chest pain
• Suicide attempt/thoughts
• Suspected heart attack or stroke
• Head injuries
• Severe abdominal pain

Payment Policy

Payment for all services is expected at the time of the visit. We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.

Insurance

Patients are asked to present their card at each visit. Deductibles, co-pays, etc, are collected at the time of service.  For your convenience, most major insurance is accepted and filed. For insurance plans that we do not participate in, we will provide the necessary information for you file your own insurance claim.  Please call 432-582-2051 for billing and insurance questions.

RX Refills

Unfortunately prescriptions are unable to be refilled in the Urgent Care Department.  Please contact your primary care provider with 48 hours advance notice for medication refills.
